Birmingham’s “Cube Lauren Perrier Champagne Bar” is set to open December 2

Birmingham, England’s iconic and futuristic-looking leisure venue “The Cube” welcomes the addition of the Cube Laurent Perrier Lounge, a new £150,000 skyline Champagne bar adjoined to Marco Pierre White’s new restaurant.

The 50-seater Laurent Perrier lounge is a joint venture with Sanguine Hospitality and will be positioned alongside the restaurant, and above the boutique Hotel Indigo Birmingham, the venue reflects the group’s bid to create an exclusive new aspect to Birmingham’s leisure scene.

Nick Taplin, managing director of Sanguine Hospitality, said: “Laurent Perrier is one of the world’s most renowned Champagne brands and we are delighted to bring the company’s first bar to Birmingham.

“There is a real taste for affordable glamour in the city and we’ve set out to deliver a 21st century destination. This venue will allow people to sip excellent champagne before enjoying exquisite food at Marco’s and perhaps even an opulent night at Hotel Indigo.

Steve Brandwood, sales director for Laurent Perrier in the UK said: “The house of Laurent-Perrier has a pedigree for innovation and is renowned for achieving many firsts with the development of its champagne range. It’s a natural fit to be partnering with the forward-thinking people at Sanguine Hospitality on such an exciting space – the top floor of an iconic and futuristic building.”
